These are wonderful mid 20th century intaglio (under glass) cabachons from Czechoslovakia. These are called “new old stock”, because they were never used. They start out clear and then the backs would be painted and they would be used in several items including buttons. I have finished this process and mounted them because they are so amazing!!!
