Her body was a lipstick holder’s lid, her head was a pendant, her rose “arm” was a pin and discarded singles earrings were rescued to make up the rest of her limbs. A collaged message is a sweet surprise on the back. The perfect necklace to gift to yourself or a dear friend! “To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow” - Audrey Hepburn
These wonderful pieces are vintage “new old stock” charms I was lucky enough to come across. They remind me of vintage cufflinks but I believe they were made for either a pendant or charm bracelet. Beautiful deep green and cobalt make a stunning combination!
Versatility is one of the many reasons to LOVE this necklace! You can add the wonderful vintage reindeer piece during the holidays, then wear it without the rest of the time. Just so fun and quite the statement piece!
Such a lot of punch is packed into this simple long necklace! The bright red glass beads are the color of cinnabar, but are glossy and have gold flecks through them. The mid century modern tassel has the look of a jelly fish…so COOL! I have alternated clear crystal chain with chunky gold chain to add even more interest. An easy piece to throw on and sure to get the compliments!

The insides of vintage watches are interesting as well as beautiful. This circa 1950’s 17 jeweled watch working makes a great statement piece. The sharp contrast between the gold gears and silver toned metal is stunning.
This beautifully engraved piece was a belt slide that I converted into a wonderfully original necklace. This piece is marked Alpaca Silver on the back. This material was made in Mexico using a metal alloy from copper, nickel, zinc & iron. The gold toned frame around the engraved silver makes this a necklace that will be noticed!

I have taken a beautiful antique enamel link from a broken souvenir bracelet, and given it a second life as a vintage watch band bracelet with pearl. So so sweet. This is a petite size for a petite wrist. A great gift for the woman that bracelets are always too big for, or a young lady.
Enamel souvenir jewelry became popular from the 1940’s-1960’s. This little gem was a section of one such bracelet. The landmark represented is the Oratoire St. Joseph in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A vintage watch band is used to complement the lovely enamel piece.
I have taken a vintage watch band and married it with a mesh part from a vintage cufflink. This needs a large wrist to show off the mixed metals in just the right proportions. (Was really too big for my model, so when it is worn on the right sized wrist you will see more silver on each side of gold piece.)

Conchos come from the Mexican vaquero tradition and serve both a decorative and a utilitarian role on western saddles. Eventually they were used in accessories, as was this beautifully detailed piece from a belt.
