Black glass buttons gained popularity in 1860’s when Queen Victoria used jet buttons on her mourning clothing. Most glass buttons are sometimes called jet, but these glass buttons were more accessible to the masses than actual jet gemstones. The black glass buttons with luster finishes (gold or silver) became in favor again from post 1920’s until the late 1940’s when Czech glass buttons were produced in abundance. The designs are varied but always beautiful. These bracelets can be worn dressy or for everyday… but always enchanting!
Features:
Five, seven, nine or eleven vintage or antique glass buttons (12mm - 24mm)

These mirror backed and tinted buttons are made from pierced metal, then a reflective film is inserted behind them to catch the light and give them a twinkle effect. The style dates them most likely to the late 1800’s and they are oh so pretty!
These Late 1800’s buttons have a great floral escutcheon set on a steel back. I have left the shank on to preserve their collectibility. The antique silver background combined with the subtle gold flower make these a must have!

The use of a reflective film behind gold filagree helped to give the buttons a twinkle when they caught the light! I also love that it gives a mixed metal result for those of us who love silver and gold together.
Authentic vintage typewriter keys are an awesome way to show your love! Nostalgic remembrance of days gone by and a great curiosity for those too young to have used them.
These groovy earrings are a throwback from the 60’s. I modernized them from the original clip ons & they are ready to live their second life! Neat-O ☺️
In the 1960’s & 70’s, the Mod look & Flower Power vibe was picked up by costume jewelry companies. They made & sold enamel pins & earrings in many colors & motifs. I found two such pins & joined them in perfect bliss as this super cool statement necklace. Put it over a bright top with some white pants and you will be a standout knockout for the win!

These are wonderful pewter on steel buttons from the late 1800’s! They have the faintest tint in a pinky peach hue. So interesting, a piece of history & small & light…what’s not to love!
