So much to love about this late 1800’s button! The stylized design of Grain….wheat? Corn? The button has a silver cast with just a hint of subtle gold showing through. The wide no pinch band is comfortable & adjustable. Historically chic!
For my naturalists out there… These are Vegetable Ivory button from the 1800's-1920's. They were made from the Tagua Nut from South America between 1885- 1920. (although in 1990's they moved to restart the veg.-ivory button trade.) They are subtle, yet make a beautiful and interesting piece of jewelry!
Features:
Six carved vegetable ivory buttons - 1” diameter
Silver tone bracelet base
Finished length 7 1/2”
I am always happy to adjust length to your specifications
The wonderful geometric carved circles pop right out with the red outline. This simple design has a lot of depth & a great combo of saffron yellow, red & black. Add this one-of-a-kind Art pin to your jacket or coat for a modern pop of interest!
This vintage celluloid leaf button provides texture to this dramatic large pin! I have left the shank on this leaf button & set it into the button behind it, in order to preserve the button’s collectibility. Add this great pin to your jacket or coat for a pop of interest & fun!
A vintage celluloid glow bubble button is the centerpiece of this pin. These early 1900’s buttons were made in such a way that they appear to glow from within! If a button is special I want to preserve the integrity of the button and not alter it. In this case I have left the shank on & set it into the button behind it. Add this one-of-a-kind Collectible pin to your jacket or coat for a pop of interest & fun!
Vintage Pearl buttons are just stunning. They are chameleons, changing hues to coordinate with whatever color you are wearing! This is a combination of two separate Pearl buttons that I stacked. They each have a yellow tone, but again, they will go with everything!
Features:
Vintage Pearl button - center button 1/2” diameter, outer button 1 1/4” diameter.
Antiqued Gold tone clamper bracelet backing - fits average (71/2”) wrist easily.
So much to love about this late 1800’s button! The stylized design, the striking contrast of silver & gold and the comfortable adjustable wide band. Historically chic!
A wonderful vintage carved smoky pearl button is shown off against a vintage mother of pearl button. Pearl buttons have the ability to pick up whatever color you are wearing, which gives this piece great versatility!
This is a button, most likely post 1920’s, that is made to look like an expensive jeweled button on Bakelite. I believe it is all plastic, celluloid and some type of metal trim. Nonetheless, it is striking and large and would finish off a textile product with much drama!
