Guilloche enamel was popular in the 1880’s. A surface is engraved with an intricate pattern and then covered with glass enamel. I’ve used this sweet Guilloche heart locket and married it with another Guilloche piece that was a brooch. I created a fun asymmetrical chain using vintage links and odds and ends which adds to this piece’s charm!
