Nine sweet little China calico Buttons all in a row! These buttons were manufactured from 1840’s in France, Germany & Austria. They were utilitarian in use and they were popular in the US from 1850’s - 1870’s. They made over 150 different patterns & colors that made them quite decorative…wearable history! These buttons are a rare offering. They are in extremely pristine condition for 170 year old buttons.
I don’t like empty sew holes in buttons so I have meticulously “threaded” these.
