This Ivoroid button is a so lovely. It is a celluloid button from late 1800’s. They were made to imitate ivory so most celluloid buttons from this time period fell under the label of “Ivoroid”. The other button is a wafer button made post 1920’s. I have set the shank of the Ivoroid inside this backing button to preserve the integrity of the Ivoroid button for collectibility.
